Photography Class, Sydney: Your Teacher

Your teacher Scott McGale has over 20 years of experience as a professional photographer with a career that has taken him all over the globe. Internationally acclaimed with exhibitions in London, Prague and Sydney, his work has been and is still enjoyed by many.  Voted Sunday Times Magazine cover of the decade in 2000 for his Frankenscience cover image which is proudly on permanent display at the London head office in Wapping, East London. The Sunday Times also included his Kissing cover image in the global exhibition and publication Cover Story  -  The Art and Journalism of the Sunday Times Magazine (2006) which toured the world in 2008.

He has shot advertising campaigns for leading companies such as Wella, Clairol and other international brands. Scott is an expert at lighting - and understanding light is the means to understanding photography. With him, you will be in excellent hands throughout your photography course or session.

After returning to Australia from 17 years in London, he fell into teaching for the Australian Centre for Photography and loved it. Now he shares his passion for Photography with students through Photo Workshop Australia on courses, or one-on-one private photography lessons.

Scott is a working professional and spends his time either shooting jobs for advertising clients in Australia, major magazines like Marie Claire, Instyle, Sunday Telegraph Magazine, or teaching. He loves sharing his experience with students and trying to help them see the world through the eyes of a Photographer. So much detail to see. So much to create.
