Scott was very in-depth and took the time to explain each step carefully so it was understood by all. The hands on experiences was beneficial whilst learning the theory behind the camera screen. I would definetly recommend to anyone who wants to gain more knowledge on camera usage.

As a teenager with no experience of how to use a Manuel Camera, I found the course to be straightforward and easy to learn. I got loads of great notes and photos from throughout the day.

The half day photograph was an excellent course revealing the basics of photography in an enthusiastic way. The course has shown the balance within the elements of the manual with a highly passionate teacher commiting in an engaging fiery way. Awesome and fun course

Great 4 hour course for little or no understanding of how to use the manual option on DSLR camera, Scott is very patient and takes as through steps methodically that are easy to understand, would recommend this course as an excellent starting point for photographers that want to learn how to take photos off the auto button

Great course, for most levels of knowledge. Going into it as a beginner I was taught about my specific camera, shots I wanted to take and how take them.

Sensational photography course with in-depth learning experience . I finished with a greater understanding of manual, aperture and shutter priority modes which is a huge confidence booster . Scott is a terrific photographic teacher with a lot of knowledge and sets you up for greater improvement and wider skill set. I would recommend this course.

Good communication from Scott, especially when the original course was canceled due to rain. Scott was very willing to share his experience, answer our questions and help us in any way he could. It was a good balance of theory and practice on the settings, manual exposure and principles of photography. Took some great shots of iconic Sydney and really good notes.

Very enjoyable morning spent in The Rocks learning to use my camera. Scott explains everything very well and gives you opportunities to practice what you’re learning. Before I started this course I had no idea what any of the buttons on the camera meant but now I feel very confident when holding the camera and I can take moving shots of a car on a highway or s very detailed portrait showcasing a subject. I learnt about highlights, contrast, shutter speed, aperture and so much more

Scott was knowledgeable, patient, and accommodating with my requests and questions. I definitely learned a few techniques that I’ve since been able to apply to basic photo-taking which has improved the quality immensely. Thank you Scott!

Before I did Scott’s workshop, I was a very keen ‘auto’ photographer who felt that all the technical functions of the camera were too hard. After a four-hour class, I now understand how my camera works and what an amazing difference to my photos!

This course was very good at explaining the basics of photography to beginners. It explained the three elements that control the picture and what they do, and how and why to change them to make the picture better based on the photo you are taking. I think it’s a great course for people wanting to get into photography.

He went very in detail with all of the different settings and types of shots which was very helpful in getting the absolute best photos you can out of your camera. I would recommend this to anyone looking to get into photography. No knowledge about the camera is needed for this course.
