As a teenager with no experience of how to use a Manuel Camera, I found the course to be straightforward and easy to learn. I got loads of great notes and photos from throughout the day.

Great course! Scott is really knowledgeable – there is a lot of information to take in and Scott breaks it down into easy to understand pieces. I was clueless at the beginning but by the end, I felt confident to shoot a range of photos using all the functions of the camera. Thanks Scott ! Highly recommend this course!

My 15 year old son was able to utilise his creative kids voucher and enjoyed a very informative half day session with Scott. He really enjoyed it and learnt a lot about the functions of his camera.

He went very in detail with all of the different settings and types of shots which was very helpful in getting the absolute best photos you can out of your camera. I would recommend this to anyone looking to get into photography. No knowledge about the camera is needed for this course.

This course was very good at explaining the basics of photography to beginners. It explained the three elements that control the picture and what they do, and how and why to change them to make the picture better based on the photo you are taking. I think it’s a great course for people wanting to get into photography.

Before I did Scott’s workshop, I was a very keen ‘auto’ photographer who felt that all the technical functions of the camera were too hard. After a four-hour class, I now understand how my camera works and what an amazing difference to my photos!

The half day course offers an amazing amount of information. The best thing is that the information is put into immediate practice with the guidance and assistance of an absolute expert. I have already booked into the Manly sunrise course and look forward to building on the skills that I learned at The Rocks.

Sensational photography course with in-depth learning experience . I finished with a greater understanding of manual, aperture and shutter priority modes which is a huge confidence booster . Scott is a terrific photographic teacher with a lot of knowledge and sets you up for greater improvement and wider skill set. I would recommend this course.

Great course, for most levels of knowledge. Going into it as a beginner I was taught about my specific camera, shots I wanted to take and how take them.

Very enjoyable morning spent in The Rocks learning to use my camera. Scott explains everything very well and gives you opportunities to practice what you’re learning. I would recommend this course to anyone looking to begin photography. It gives you an excellent understanding of how to setup shots and use your camera in different modes.

Good communication from Scott, especially when the original course was canceled due to rain. Scott was very willing to share his experience, answer our questions and help us in any way he could. It was a good balance of theory and practice on the settings, manual exposure and principles of photography. Took some great shots of iconic Sydney and really good notes.

Before I started this course I had no idea what any of the buttons on the camera meant but now I feel very confident when holding the camera and I can take moving shots of a car on a highway or s very detailed portrait showcasing a subject. Great 4 hour course for little or no understanding of how to use the manual option on DSLR camera, Scott is very patient and takes as through steps methodically that are easy to understand, would recommend this course as an excellent starting point for photographers that want to learn how to take photos off the auto button

I recently embarked on a 4 hr introductory course to photography with Scott. The course was very informative, and Scott did a great job explaining the technical details of aperture, shutter speed, ISO, and exposure. Scott has a wealth of knowledge and shared numerous practical tips. Thanks Scott.

Scott was very in-depth and took the time to explain each step carefully so it was understood by all. The hands on experiences was beneficial whilst learning the theory behind the camera screen. I would definetly recommend to anyone who wants to gain more knowledge on camera usage.
